REHEAT IN THE OVEN :
  • Preheat the oven to 250°C (thermostat 9/10)
  • Remove the cardboard ring and the plastic film lid, place into a heat proof dish then add half a glass of water.
  • As soon as the oven is hot, place the dish inside and leave it to roast for 25 minutes.
  • When it's ready, make sure to take every necessary precaution while handling the hot dish? (heat proof gloves, etc.).
Alsatian ham hocks can also be cooked in a sauerkraut or in a stew :
Remove the vacuum packaging.

IN A SAUERKRAUT :

  • Place the ham hocks on the vegetables 20 minutes before the end, turn them over after 10 minutes to heat them through all the way.

IN A STEW :
  • Put the ham hocks in with the vegetables 20 minutes before the end.
